I had the pleasure last summer to photograph Graeme and Tori’s utterly beautiful Aquapetra Resort and Spa wedding in Italy, which was held on the 11th September 2019. Hailing from Liverpool, they opted for a destination wedding with a really unique boho vibe, and the result was just incredible. The wedding took place over a full weekend, and I was delighted to be involved in the whole celebration of fun & festivities, meticulously planned by Graeme & Tori.
The exclusive use venue, meant that the wedding party had the hotel for 3 nights, so the grounds, pools and its spa facilities were at everyone’s disposal! A huge thank you also goes to Enrico Ferrari for his fantastic planning and coordination of the wedding.
The wedding venue was Aquapetra Resort and Spa, found in a little town in Campania called Telese. You may recognise it from the First Dates Hotel on Channel 4! It is nestled amongst olive groves and boasts a chapel, two gorgeous pools, a spa, two restaurants and rooms for all 86 guests.
Graeme & Tori (G&T!) drove to Italy for their wedding, so after their wedding, they could head on an incredible road trip for their honeymoon in Italy.
The night before the wedding, a Pizza and Prosecco evening was held to celebrate everyone’s arrival. Then also a pool party (including a 10-person floating unicorn) the day after!
I would like to thank Cotswold’s wedding photographer Dan Morris for being my second shooter and to Busy Bird Wedding Films for the videography coverage.
Tori looked incredible in her Rue De Seine gown and veil, (available from Jean Jackson Couture in Manchester) with Graeme looking extremely suave and “well suited” to the Italian lifestyle in an ivory blazer, black trousers and bow tie.
The wedding ended with the whole party jumping in the pool at the end of the night – the groomsmen and bridesmaids decided they should all jump in – fully dressed. The bride was the first in – followed by bridesmaids, the groom, groomsmen (in their full suits and shoes!) and then all of the guests – some in VERY expensive outfits! After we had photographed this, we felt obliged to join in, once the cameras were out of harms way!
Thank you Graeme and Tori for putting your faith in me to capture what was a truly spectacular wedding that I will never forget.
